I grew up in Colorado, then studied at the University of Oregon in Eugene, where I earned my BFA in Visual Design in 1995. My wife Marcie and I moved to Portland in 2000, where taught I classes at the Art Institute of Portland and Pacific Northwest College of Art, and helped put on the Stumptown Comics Fest. In 2008 I taught a 3 day workshop on making comics in Singapore.
In 2012 we moved to Minneapolis. In 2014, we adopted our son Wyatt. These days I'm parenting, making art, practicing Aikido, and wrangling our two cats. |
